Larsen & Turbo Limited organizes the L&T Build India Scholarship fresh, deserving engineering graduates interested in pursuing M.Tech in Construction Technology in IIT Delhi, Madras. Following are the details of this scholarship program:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed engineering in Civil or Mechanical or Engineering with aggregate 65% from a recognized Indian University / Institute.


Age limit:
23 years of age.

L&T Construction – India's largest construction organisation and part of the Larsen & Toubro conglomerate - will sponsor
fresh, deserving engineering graduates interested in pursuing M. Tech in Construction Technology at IIT (Madras, Delhi) and
NIT (Surathkal, Trichy) and developing themselves as Project Managers. The scholarship reinforces L&T Construction's keenness
to enhance industry-academic interface. The 24-month course will commence from July 2014.
Qualifications:

-- 10th Std: Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.50 on a scale of 10
-- 12th Std: Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.50 on a scale of 10
-- B.E. / B.Tech: Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.75 on a scale of 10 in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering who will pass out
in 2014 from a recognized Indian University / Institute.
Age: Not more than 23 years as on 01/07/2014.
Minimum Height: 160 cm. Minimum W
Minimum Weight: 50 kg. Vision: If wearing glasses,the power should be less than ±5.0 dioptres.

Selection Process: Involves written test / interview conducted by IITs (Madras / Delhi) and NITs (Surathkal / Trichy) in
co-ordination with L&T Construction. Final selection will be subject to medical fitness.
Scholarship: For the 24-month course, L&T will pay candidates a stipend of Rs.9,000/- per month as well as sponsorship and
tuition fee to IITs / NITs. Please note, more IITs / NITs may join the scheme.
Employment: Those who successfully complete the course will be considered for employment in permanent cadre in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the Company. Total emoluments on absorption at current rates exceed Rs. 4 lakhs per annum
on cost-to-company basis. The Company offers excellent career prospects.
Undertaking: Before the course, candidates selected will have to execute an undertaking for a value of Rs.3 lakhs to complete
the course and subsequently, if selected for employment, to serve the Company for five more years.
