Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna is a national fellowship/scholarship programme in Basic Sciences, taken by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Important Dates:
Application form begins July 20, 2014
Last date for request of Application form By Post Aug 28, 2014
Last date for closing of Online Application Sep 8, 2014
Last Date for receipt of the completed application Sep 8, 2014
Admit Card date Oct (tentatively)
Exam Date Nov 2, 2014

Exam Pattern –
In the aptitude test is a paper-pen format with 100 questions to answer.
Each year cutoff for both general and SC/ST/PWD applicants is declared by KVPY.
The aptitude test does not follow any prescribed syllabus, but applicants are tested as per the syllabus of class X/XII/First year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S as applicable.
