Here I am providing the information regarding the Eligibility required for Karnataka PGCET Exam which you are looking for . Applicants who has passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I applicants . |

Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to courses like MBA, MCA and M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch. Eligibility Details: Contenders must be Indian Nationals Applicants must have passed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent exam with a aggregate of 50% (45% forSC, ST and Category-I candidates) Contenders can apply on the basis of valid GATE score and will be exempted from Karnataka PGCET. Such contenders will be given priority over Karnataka PGCET applicants Allotment of seats for Karnataka PGCET applicants will be 90% for Karnataka applicants and 10% for non-Karnataka applicants. Reservation guidelines will be applicable only for Karnataka applicants (even for GATE applicants) Note: Final year students can apply provided they submit the proof of their passing the qualifying exam with the stated percentage during counselling/admissions Domicile Criteria: Aspirants must have studied and passed in one or more Government or Government recognized educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic years commencing from Class I to qualifying examination either continuously or in broken period as on 1st July, 2015 Applicants who have taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only Applicants must have studied and passed the qualifying examination within the State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized by the State Government OR Applicants whose parents (either parent) should have studied in Government recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN Years |
