Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is the entrance exam for admission to first year MBA/MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.BA courses in the State of Karnataka.

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test

Eligibility
Candidate must have passed any under graduate exam or equivalent exam with minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category candidates)

Exam Pattern
The question paper is of 2 parts - Part One comprises of 2 Sections - Section A & Section B.

Section A : Proficiency in English Language, 25 questions, 25 marks

Section B :Test of General Knowledge, 25 questions, 25 marks

Part Two of the paper has two sections - Section C & Section D.

Section C : Test of Reasoning & General Intelligence, 25 questions, 25 marks

Section D : Test of Quantitative Analysis(Mathematical Skills), 25 questions, 25 marks

The total duration of the test is 150 minutes.

There are no negative marks for giving wrong answers.
