As you want to get the details of Joint Entrance Exam Main eligibility criteria so here it is for you:

1. Pass Percentage in Qualifying Examination:
Candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects

They must have studied any one of the subjects as optional subjects (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology)

Candidates must have passed class 12th with minimum of 50% marks in total including all subjects

2. Year of Passing Qualifying Examination:
Candidates must have passed their Class XII examination or other qualifying examination in the year 2012 or 2013.

Or

Candidates who are appearing for their Class XII examination in 2014 are eligible

Candidates must have studied at least five subjects in their Class XII or other qualifying exam.

Candidates who have studied four subjects are NOT eligible.

3. Date of Birth:
Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1989 to be considered for the JEE Main 2014.

4. Number of Allowed attempts:
A maximum number of three attempts will be allowed per candidate provide the other eligibility criteria are fulfilled by the candidates

List of Qualifying Exams that are considered for JEE Main 2014:
The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
H.S.C. vocational examination.
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National
Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. [Only for Admission to IITs]
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. [Only for Admission to IITs]

JEE Main 2014 Important Dates:
Start of Online Application: November 15, 2013
Last date for Online Application: December 26, 2013 Extended till January 6, 2014
Date for Download of JEE Main 2014 Admit Card: March 13, 2014 onwards.
JEE Main 2014 Test Date (Offline)
Paper 1 - April 6, 2014 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Paper 2 – April 6, 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is a national level exam conducted by CBSE every year

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects as optional subjects (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) in 12th exam

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in total including all subjects in 12th
