My cousin want to apply for the B. Sc. Nursing course offered by the Indian Army . will you please tell what is the minimum eligibility requirements to apply there . also please tell what are the required document while applying for nursing course in Indian Army.

Indian Army Invites Applications from Female Candidates for Admission to 4 years B. Sc. (Nursing) Course Commencing in July / August 2016 at Colleges of Nursing and 3 years Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Course commencing in September 2016 at Schools of Nursing of Armed Forces Hospitals.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications at IHQ, New Delhi: November, 2016

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the XII Standard / Equivalent Examination, as a Regular Student in all the Subjects PCB as Elective Subjects and not Optional and Vocational (in both theory and practical) and English, in FIRST ATTEMPT from a Recognized Board/University, with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).


Female Candidates who are Unmarried/Divorcee/Legally Separated or widow Without Encumbrances can Apply.

Candidate Nationality should be Indian.

Age Limit:

Between 01 Aug 91 to 31 Jul 99

Selection Process:

The Candidates will be Selected on the Bases of Marks Obtained in Written Test followed by Interview.

After that Medical Test will also Ensure the Selection of the Candidates.
