Indian Air Force joining Procedure

Will anyone can tell me the detailed information about how to join Indian Air Force as technical branch? What is the Procedure of it?

The Indian Air Force is the air wing of the Indian armed forces. The responsibility of this is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. It was founded on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire.

Procedure to join Indian Air Force as technical branch:

There are two schemes by which a candidate can join Indian Air Force as technical branch. These are given below:

Direct Entry Scheme –
Men and Women candidates having their age between 18 and 28 years can apply through this scheme.

The age of unmarried applicants should be below 25 years.

minimum marks should be of 60% in B.Tech course

University Entry Scheme (UES) –
Candidates who are pursuing B.Tech final year can apply through this scheme.

They has minimum of 60% aggregate up to last semester at the time of applying for or during AFSB testing.

No backlogs will be allowed during the previous semesters.

Only men candidates can forward their application as this scheme is under permanent commission.

AFCAT
Candidates applying through both these schemes should qualify the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Applications can be submitted during the month of December every year.

Nationality : Indian
Gender : This is applicable to both men & women.
Educational Qualification (Aeronautical Engineer Electonics) 1 division (60% & above)
BE / B.Tech in Electronics / Telecommunication / Electrical / Electrical Communication / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Computer Science & Engineering or a combination of these subjects. OR
Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology OR
B Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics / Optics & Opto Electronics OR
MSc Degree in Physics (With Electronics) / Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Application / MCA with Maths, Physics and Electronics at graduation level or MSc. Tech in Electronics & Radio Engineering OR
Section A&B Examination of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication subjects OR
Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers with subjects of Section A & full subjects of Section B by actual studies (Maths, Applied Electronics and Circuits, Principals of Communication Engineering, Transmission lines and Networks)
