IES Exam Dates Eligibility Criteria

I want to appear in IES Exam so can you please tell me its eligibility Criteria and important dates?

IES is the Indian Engineering Services Entrance Exam. It is conducted by UPSC.


Eligibility
Candidate must be citizen of India


Educational qualification


Candidate must have bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./B.sc.) from a recognized university or equivalent.


M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering also acceptable for certain services / posts only.


Age limit:
Minimum age: 21 years
Maximum age: 30 years


Relaxation of upper age limit for Government servants is 5 years


IES 2015 2016 Application Fee:
No Application Fee for SC / ST / PH / Female Candidates.
For Others Rs. 200/-.


ESE IES 2015 Important Dates UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2015:

Start Date for IES 2015 Registration: 22nd March 2015
Last Date for IES Registration 2015: 21st April 2015
Date of ESE IES 2015 Exam: 20th June 2015 (3 Days exam)
