Here I am providing the information regarding the Indian Administrative Services Exam which you are looking for. Eligibility a) Aspiring candidates must have pass Graduation in any stream from a recognized university in India b) Aspiring candidates appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply. c) Aspiring candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to professional and technical degree are eligible . d) Aspiring candidates who have passed final year of MBBS are also eligible . Indian Administrative Services IAS Exam is conducted by central body Union Public Service Commission every year in the month of May to selected candidates for the positions in the Central Government and its various departments. IAS Exam Eligibility Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognized by the government are also eligible. Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical degree Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination. Age Limits: Age must be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August of the year in which examination is being held. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the SC/ST and other backward classes. Nationality: For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India For other services, a candidate must be either: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India. or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. These candidates will not be eligible for appointment to the Indian Foreign Service.
