Himachal Pradesh University is a public non-profit university at Summer Hill about 5 km from the world-renowned hill-station Shimla, in the vicinity of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Candidates with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped) either in the Bachelors Degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) and or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped) or any other qualification equivalent thereto

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for candidates applying to the regular B.Ed. course of one year (High court orders in LPA No.: 104 of 2012 decided on 27th August 2012)
