In the year 2014 the Union Public Service Commission (Civil Service Examination for Indian Administrative Service officer will be held on 24.08.2014 (SUNDAY). The date of filling the form is over. So you cannot fill the form for this session.

Here I am telling you the procedure of filling the form, which will be helpful for you in the next session:
• Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission.
• Now click on the “UPSC ONLINE APPLICATIONS” option.
• This is the page; the application form will be available very soon at this page.

Here I am giving you details for IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Examination including required educational qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications:
• Candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

• Candidates appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply for IAS

• Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to professional and technical degrees are eligible to apply.

• Candidates who have passed final year of MBBS exam but are yet to complete internship can apply for the prelim exam.

2. Age Limit:
Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

3. Age Relaxation:
• Up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

• Up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates

Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2015:
Date of Notification: 16.05.2015
Last date for receipt of applications: 12.06.2015 (FRIDAY)
Date of commencement of Examination: 23.08.2015 (SUNDAY)
Duration of the Exam: 1 DAY

Civil Services (Main) Exam 2015:
Date of commencement of Examination: 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY)
Duration of the Exam: 5 DAYS
