Combined Defense Services Examination is for peoples who want to enter in Army forces. After this clearing this exam candidates can be recruited into the Indian Military Academy, the Naval Academy or the Air Force Academy.

CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC in India. This is conducted twice every year in February and November. Candidate who pass exams are eligible for SSB interview and after passing the interview they can enter the Academy.


The CDS examination contains questions of following subjects:
