BITSAT is conducted by the Birla Institute Of Technology Pilani for admissions to the various engineering courses to the BITS institutes.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria:

Should completed t 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country.

Secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Secured a minimum of 60% in each subject separately.
Candidates must be proficient in English.

Age : 17 years .

BITSAT Paper Pattern:

BITSAT is a Computer Based Online Test.

Duration of BITSAT three hours with 150 multiple choice questions

The BITSAT Question Paper will be divided into four sections:

First section in Physics with 40 questions

Second section in Chemistry with 40 questions

Third section consists of questions to test the candidate’s English Proficiency with 15 questions and Logical Reasoning with 10 questions

Fourth section in Maths with 45 questions

Each correct answer will get three marks each

One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test) is an online entrance exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses at its three campuses. Admission will be offered to the candidates into BE, BPharm and MSc programmes after qualifying this admission test.

BITSAT Eligibility

Cleared Class 12th board examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects in 2019 or will be appearing for the exam in 2020

Obtained at least 60% in each of the above-mentioned subjects and at least 75% in aggregate,

Adequate proficiency in English,

For students who have taken Class 12 board exams for more than once, only latest performance is considered.

Present students of any of the BITS campuses will not be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2020.

BITSAT admission offers a unique proposition for the Board toppers of all the central and state boards in India. All students who obtain first rank in Class 12 board examinations will be given direct admission to the programmes of their choice irrespective of their BITSAT scores, if they meet other eligibility criteria of BITSAT.
