Indian Air Force Logistics Branch or department details are as given below:

Age limit:
20 to 23 years of age for Graduates, 20 to 25 years of age for Post Graduates / LLB ( Five year integrated course) and 20 to 26 Years of age for Law Graduates (3 Years Course after Graduation)

Marital status:
Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried

This is applicable to both men and women

Qualification;

The applicant should have Graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together

OR
The applicant should have Post Graduation degree / equivalent diploma in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all papers put together

Logistics Branch in Indian Air Force comes under Ground Duty and primarily deals in management of inventories, material management, equipment, transport etc. In Logistics Branch, male candidates may choose between Permanent Commission and SSC. In case of female candidates only SSC option is available.

Keeping in mind the needs at the time, the logistics officer provides clothing to aircraft equipment, one will make sure the effective examinations of inventories and availability of important objects to all the operators and users A Logistics Officer is also responsible for the logistic support in IAF


Eligibility Criteria

Age –
20 to 23 Years for Graduates and 20 to 25 years for Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course).
Upper age limit is relaxed up to 26 years for Law Graduates (3 Years Course), up to 27 years for CA / ICWA / M Ed / Ph D.

Marital Status –
Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried.

Indian

Gender –
Both men and women

As a Graduate/ Post Graduate you can join as an officer in any of the following Ground Duty Branches


Educational Qualifications

Graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together, or

As a Post Graduate one can join in the following Ground Duty Branches.


Examination

One will have to appear for AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). It is conducted by the IAF twice a year. Advertisements are put out on June and December months.

Even final year students may apply. But they shouldn’t have any Backlogs present at the time when the course starts and must have 60% aggregate marks at the time when the Graduation course is completed. Also, they must be able to provide provisional/Original Degree Certificate provided by the University, when asked by the authorities.
