I have completed my studies and planning to join Indian Air Force (IAF) searching for all the details related to joining Indian Air Force. Will you tell me list of branches available in Indian Air Force and also tell me what the selection procedure is there any entrance exam I have to give?

Ground Duty Branch (Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission)

AFCAT 2 2016 Selection Process

AFCAT selection process involves following steps

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT – only for Technical branch).
AFSB Interview
Screening test
Psychological test, Group test and Interview
CPSS and/ or PABT only for Flying branch

AFCAT June 2016 Important Dates

Notification Date: June 2016 (Expected)
Starting date for Online Application: Last week of June 2016 (Expected)
Last date for Application: July 2016 (Expected)
AFCAT 2 2016 Written Exam Date: September 2016 (Expected)
