Yes, you are eligible for Government Teacher Job after completing your NPTT course. Minimum requirement for Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Candidate should passed senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Candidate should passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Candidate should pass senior secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Candidate should pass senior secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education. . OR Candidate should passed Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage Candidate should passed Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Candidate should passed Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Candidate should passed Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Candidate should passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Teacher Eligibility Test also known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- For Grade 1:- Master Degree from a recognised university with B.ED. course For Grade 2:- Graduation from a recognised university with B.ED. course For Grade 3:- Higher secondary pass with D.ED. course AGE LIMIT:- For Grade 1 and Grade 2, The age of the aspirants should be 21-30 years the age relaxation for OBC is 3 years and SC/ST aspirants is 5 years. For Grade 2, The age of the aspirants should be 18-28 years However there is age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST aspirants as per government rule.
