Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test known as EAMCET. Age Criteria: Minimum age of a student for EAMCET must be 18 years old. Educational Qualification: Students should have completed intermediate with the least of the 60% marks in a science stream from a renowned university. Paper Pattern There are no negative marking and each question will be having 4 options. Total marks 160 Total questions 160 EAMCET Physics exam 40 EAMCET Chemistry 40 EAMCET Biology (Botany and Zoology) exam 80 Important Dates: Start of Submission & Registration of EAMCET 2014 Online Application form February 20, 2014 Last date for Submission & Registration of Online Application form without late fee April 4, 2014 Downloading of Hall Tickets from the website May 8 to 19, 2014 EAMCET 2014 Examination Date May 22, 2014 EAMCET 2014 Result June 9, 2014 |

EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Examination It is a state level examination for admission into UG courses conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on the behalf of the state council of technical education. Courses offered under EAMCET 2014 (Engineering Courses): B.E. / B.Tech. B.Tech.(Bio-Technology) (M.P.C.) B.Tech.(Dairy Technology) B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.) B.Tech.(Food Science & Technology) B.Tech.(Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) Age limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age Eligibility: The candidates must belong to the Andhra Pradesh state. The candidates must be of Indian Nationality Candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with at least 45% marks (40% marks for the reserved categories) Examination Pattern for EAMCET Type of Questions: All the questions will be MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). Marking Scheme: All questions carry equal marks. 1 mark for every right answer. Negative Marking: No negative marking. Total Number of Questions: 160 (Physics-40, Chemistry-40, Maths-80) EAMCET 2015 Syllabus EAMCET syllabus will include in three major subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics syllabus The topics from Physics, which can be asked in EAMCET 2015 examinations, will be as physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics. Chemistry syllabus The chemistry will cover the topics as atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electrochemistry. Mathematics syllabus The main topics which will include in mathematics syllabus will be as numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry. |
