EAMCET 2015 is commonly known as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. The EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is conducted for the students seeking admission into under-graduate level professional courses offered by the University. Eligibility Criteria The Candidates should be of Indian Nationality. Persons of India Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders are allowed provided they meet the specified criteria. Aspirants should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status – as per the requirements of the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions order, 1974. The Applicants must have passed the Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects along with the Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects. The Candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category). Applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2014 to become eligible for this exam. Syllabus: Physics syllabus The topics from Physics, which can be asked in EAMCET 2015 examinations, will be as physics world, units and measurements, elements of vectors, dynamics and kinematics, centre of mass, frictions and collisions, elasticity, gravitation and fluid mechanics. Chemistry Syllabus The chemistry will cover the topics as atomic structure, classification of elements, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matters, periodicity in properties, solutions and electrochemistry. Mathematics Syllabus The main topics which will include in mathematics syllabus will be as numbers, trigonometry, algebra, probability, vector algebra, calculus, and co-ordinate geometry. Tentative dates EAMCET 2015 application form notification date – will be available on Jan 2015 Availability of online application form – will be available on Feb 2015 Last date of submission of application form – likely to be on last Feb 2015 Last date of submission of application form with late fees – likely to be on last March 2015 Availability of Hall ticket – will be available on April 2015 Date of EAMCET 2015 examination for engineering and agriculture & medical – will be held on May 2015 |
