DRDO entry test is conducted for technical assistant and technician vacancies in the organization.
.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Applicants should be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit for different vacancies is as follows:-

• 18 to 30 years for Assistant (Hindi) post.
• 18 to 28 years in case of STAT B (Senior Technician Group B) and Technician posts.
• 18 to 27 years for Adminstration and other allied posts.

Important Dates:
Cut-off date for submission of applications:- 08 Nov 2014
Exam date:- Februrary 01,2015 (Sunday)

Educational Qualification:-

a) Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’(STA-’B'):

- B.Sc degree
- Three year engineering in diploma in Agricultural Science, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics, Geology, Instrumentation, Library Science, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Microbiology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Photography, Physics, Printing, Psychology, Radiography, Surveyor, Textile, Tool Die & Moulding, Veterinary Science Zoology from recognized university or institute.

b) Technician’A’ (Tech’A'):

- Class 10 (SSC) or equivalent.
- Certificate in ITI in Automobile, Book Binder, Carpenter, COPA, Cutting & Tailoring, Draughtsman (Mechanical), DTP Operator, Electrician, Electronics, Electroplating, Fitter, FRP Processor, Grinder, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Machinist (CNC Operator), Mechanic (Diesel), Medical Lab Technology, Mill Wright Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Painter, Photographer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal Worker, Turner, Welder trade.

c) Admin & Allied Category Posts:

i. Assistant Hindi:-

- Masters degree in English/Hindi with hindi or english as compulsory elective subjects at degree level.
- Bachelors degree with English and Hindi as main subjects (compulsory/elective).
- Experience of translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.

ii.Personnel Assistant ‘A’:-

-Class 12 pass or equivalent qualification from recognized board.
- Accurate speed of 80 words per minute in short hand
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.
- accurate speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry in computer.

iii. Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’:-

- Class 12 pass or equivalent qualification from recognized board.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi (9000 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions for each word).
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English (10500 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions for each word).

iv. Security Assistant ‘A’:-

-Class 12 or equivalent from recognized board or university or equivalent certificate awarded by the Armed forces in the case of ex-servicemen.
- Candidate should also posses the physical fitness and capability to carry out strenous duty.

v. Civilian Driver ‘A’:-

-Class 10 pass from recognized board or university.
- Valid driving license for two/three wheelers and light and heavy vehicles.
- One year experience of driving after acquiring license (HMV).

vi. Fire Engine Driver ‘A’:-

-Class 10 pass from recognized board of university.
- Valid driving license for two and three wheelers.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations.
- Physical fitness and capability for strenous duty.

vii. Fire men:-

- Class 10 pass from recognized board or university.
- Physical fitness and capability to peform strenous duty.

viii. For Clerk (Canteen Manager), Vehicle Operator ‘A’ :-



-10th Class Certificate
ix. Fire Engine Driver, & Assistant Halwai-cum-Cook :-

-10th Class Certificate

Essential Requirements:

a) For the post of Technician ‘A’, it is mandatory that candidates pass the trade test.

b) For the post of Personal Assistant ‘A’, it is mandatory that candidates pass the short hand and typing test.

c) Passing the typing test is essential for the post of Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’.

d) For Civilian Driver ‘A’ & Fire Engine Driver, passing of driving test is mandatory.

e) For the post of Security Astt. ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman, it is mandatory to pass the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and medical fitness test. The Physical Endurance Test (PET) will consist:

(i) 1600m run to be completed in seven minutes.
(ii) 20 Sit ups
(iii) Rope climbing using hands – 12 feet vertical climbing.
