1. Latest passport size (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) color photograph


2. A clear attested copy of your SSLC (10th standard) certificate for age proof.

3. A thick A4 size (21 cm x 29.7 cm) cloth cover

4. If you are visually impaired and you need a question paper with enlarged font, download the request letter format here , fill up the same and enclose with your application form.

5. Attested copy of category certificate for SC/ST applicants.

6.DS Category : Children of Defence/Paramilitary personnel killed or permanently disabled in action during war or peacetime operations can submit an attested copy of the relevant certificate issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi (under the Ministry of Defence, Govt., of India) or in the Ministry of Home Affiars, Govt., of India, as applicable, along with the application.

JEE Stands for Joint Entrance Exam.

It is a National Exam for Admission for Bachelor's Engineering in Indian Colleges.

This Exam is also Mandatory for Qualifying for JEE Advanced or IIT-JEE.

Registration is Only Through the Online Portal where Detailed Instructions will be provided.

Online Registration Begins April 29, 2016 10:00 IST

Online Registration Closes May 4, 2016 17:00 IST

The Procedure Consists of Three Basic Steps.

Step-1: After login, provide the basic data including the choice of the language of question paper (English or Hindi), the choices of the cities for the examination.

Step-2: Upload the scanned copies of all requisite documents

Step-3: Pay registration fee


Given Below is a List of Certificates and other Documents That are to be Uploaded at the time of Online Registration for JEE (Advanced).

All Candidates

Color photograph of full frontal (face) view, with the head centred in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months The photograph should be such that it will allow unambiguous identification of the candidate.

Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it OR birth certificate

Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate (for those who appeared for this exam in 2014)

Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature

Scanned copy of left-hand thumb impression

If the name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.

Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (FORM EC1)

Disability certificate (FORM-PwD [II/III/IV], which ever is applicable]) issued by a district medical board / competent authority. Dyslexic candidate needs to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC instead of FORM-PwD.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2016

Candidate must be Passed in the final examination in class XII Exam, also known as Qualifying exam.

General / OBC candidate's Date of Birth must be on or after 1st October 1991.

Passing in five Subject is Required For A candidate in class XII.
