I know that DMRC has announced the Metro line for Najafgarh but there is no DMRC Plan for actually track route in Najafgarh. Are they just going to lay down line till the start of Najafgarh or going to make metro station inside najafghar too.

Re: DMRC Plan for Najafgarh
Hello buddy as we have information related to Delhi metro Rail corporation Plan for Najafgarh here we provides you as follows Length 4.295 km (2.754 km Elevated, 1.541 km Underground). Total stations 3 (Elevated 2, Underground 1). Progress of civil works upto November 2015 is 50.62%. The line is targeted for completion in December 2016. Benefits of this plan Completion of the phase-IV project will benefit nearly 60 lakh people daily and would take the daily ridership to 40 lakh. The actual work should be started by April 2016, and various sections can be opened in phases by March 2020. The completion date is subject to acquisition of land required for the project within six months period from the date of sanction of project,” the report says. According to sources said the Mukundpur–Maujpur and Janakpuri West–R.K. Ashram corridors would be the first to be taken up by the Delhi Metro, According to officials, Delhi Metro has made certain changes in the initial project layout following suggestions by Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), The RITES had conducted a traffic survey and found that some changes in the plan would benefit more people. The proposed corridors would link the existing routes of phase I, II & III through different routes and thus will reduce travel time and expense. The primary focus under the proposed phase IV is to connect areas that have not been covered under phase III of the Metro network. A senior DMRC official said the corridors have been firmed up after incorporating changes suggested in the initial layout plan, Besides extending the reach to remote areas, our focus will be to cut short the travel time and reduce travel expenses,” a DMRC official said. |
