Indian Administrative Services are civil based administrative services of the Government of India. The IAS officers are ones that relate to the policy making of our nation and relates to the complete bureaucracy of the Union Government in Central as well as the State government.

Provincial Civil Services are civil based administrative services of the State Government. These officers relate to the policy making of the state to which they belong.

The Indian Revenue Service is the revenue service of the govt. of India. it functions under the Department of Revenue in the Union Ministry Of Finance and is concerned with the collection and administration of the various direct and indirect taxes accruing to the Union Govt.
