The candidates must refer to their concerned Board Exam Syllabus (Class 11th and 12th) and Books for preparing to the concerned exam. Some of major topics of study are given below: Physics: Kinematics; Work, Energy and Power; Laws of Motion; Electrostatics; Optics; Atoms and Nuclei; Current Electricity; Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism Chemistry: Hydrogen; Surface Chemistry; Electrochemistry; Equilibrium; Structure of Atoms; Chemical Kinetics; Solid State; Environmental Chemistry; Basic concepts of Chemistry; and Solutions Biology: Reproduction; Plant Physiology; Genetics and Evolution; Human Physiology; Biotechnology and its applications; Cell Structure and Function; Biology and Human Welfare; Structural Organization in Animals and Plants and Ecology and Environment respectively Mode of Examination: The paper shall be answered in paper- pencil modes only. The candidates should use only Black Ball Point Pen for answering the questions. The questions shall be asked in both the languages –English as well as Hindi. The candidates can opt for any one paper- Hindi or English. The candidates opting for Hindi paper shall be given papers in both the languages- Hindi and English respectively. AIPMT Paper pattern: The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 03 hours. Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi. Each item carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks.
