Can someone please tell me which are the compulsory subjects in Hotel management Course as I plan to enrol for it?

Hotel business is a multi billion dollar industry. It is essentially a service and is closely linked to the tourism industry. Several of factors like promotion of tourism and rapid industrial progress have given a boost to the Industry.

The Eligibility criteria for hotel management are different, depending on the courses.

For Diploma course in Hotel Management:

To apply for diploma course an applicant should have passed Class 10th exam from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.

For Bachelor's Degree in hotel management:

For bachelors degree an applicant should have passed Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.

Post Graduation degree in Hotel management:

To be eligible for post graduation management programme an applicant should have passed Bachelors degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.

Important Factor to be remember:

One must have English as a compulsory subject.

One should have scored good marks in English subject.

One must be good in communication skills.

**Mathematics subject is not compulsory requirement to join in hotel management course.
