UPSC Civil Services Examinations
Educational eligibility – UPSC conduct civil services examinations for various posts including IAS, IRS, IFS, and IPS etc.

The interested candidates have to be a graduate from any discipline from a recognized university. Appearing candidates in final year can also apply.

UPSC Engineering Services Examination
Educational eligibility – The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university or equivalent. M.Sc degree or its equivalent degree.

UPSC Combined Defense Services Examination
Educational Criteria – A degree from a recognized university or equivalent for Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy.

B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics or a bachelor of engineering for Naval Academy.

A degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at higher secondary level or bachelor of engineering, bachelor of technology for Air Force Academy.

UPSC National Defense Academy Examination
Educational Criteria – To apply for Indian Army the candidate must have cleared higher secondary in any stream. To apply for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy the candidate must have cleared higher secondary with physics and mathematics.

UPSC Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA)
Educational Criteria – The candidates applying for SCRA examinations must have cleared higher secondary examination with physics and mathematics.

Appearing candidates with physics and mathematics as a subject can also apply. Graduate candidates with mathematics as a subject are also eligible for this exam.
