While Pursing 4th Year eligible for Civil Services Exam

Tell me am I eligible to sit for Civil Services Exams like IAS or IES Exams being a candidate of pursuing 4th year, or not, please provide eligibility criteria here???

Yes, you are eligible for Civil Services Exams like IAS or IES Exams being a candidate of pursuing 4th year.

Here are Civil Services Exams eligibility criteria:

NATIONALITY:
For applying in Civil Service Exam, candidates must be a citizen of India.
A citizen of Nepal or subject of Bhutan

EDUCATION:
The Candidates must have a degree from a State, Central or Deemed University, or

A degree from Correspondence or distant education, or

A degree from an Open University, or

Any such qualification recognized by government of India equivalent to any of the mentioned above.

AGE LIMIT:
The lower age limit required for the candidates applying for UPSC Civil Service Exam is 21 years and upper age limit is 30 years.

NO. OF ATTEMPTS:
General category candidates and the OBC candidates that fall under Creamy Layer can make four attempts for the exam.

OBC category candidates can make seven attempts.

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category can make any number of attempts.

Exam pattern

The UPSC Civil Services Exam is conducted in two stages Prelims and Mains which are then followed by an interview.

Scheme and subjects for the Preliminary and Main Examinations is as follows:

Preliminary Examination

There are two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in the Civil Services Prelims Exam.
