CID Criminal Investigation Department is a crime detection agency under the Government of India. to join the Crime Investigation Department, you must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission. Eligible to apply for CID officer— Qualification: You should have cleared graduation level degree course in any discipline from a well recognized university Age Limit -- Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 27 years Age relaxation is available as per UPSC govt. For General Category: 20 years to 27 year OBC Category: 20 years to 30 years SC/ST category:20 years to 32 years.
