Re: CGPA Required For GMAT
Various Academic achievements in the USA and Canada are measured by GPA (Grade Point Average) scores. For Master's degree candidates may need GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) scores. CGPA Conversion: 4.0 Scale A-F 100-0 1-5 Four Passing Grades Three Passing Grades 4.0 A 90-100 1 Highest Passing Grade Highest Passing Grade 3.0-3.9 B 80-89 2 Second Highest Passing Grade Middle Passing Grade 2.0-2.9 C 70-79 3 Third Highest Passing Grade Lowest Passing Grade 1.0-1.9 D 60-69 4 Lowest Passing Grade Fail 0.0-0.9 F Below 60 5 Fail Fail Candidates will receive five scores: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, Verbal, and Total. Total GMAT scores range from 200 to 800; two-thirds of test takers score between 400 and 600. Verbal and Quantitative scores range from 0 to 60; scores below 9 and above 44 for the Verbal section and below 7 and above 50 for the Quantitative section are rare. |
