Here I am giving you information about required minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average marks to apply for Graduate aptitude test in engineering below ;
Cumulative Grade Point Average calculated by dividing the sum total grade points in all subjects by no. of subjects.
Percentage score of CGPA= 9.5 x CGPA

Here I am giving you information about the minimum requirements of CGPA for GATE examination …

CGPA of 8.5 or 75% marks in aggregate for general category
CGPA of 7.5 or 70% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category

The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3 hours duration,
which contains 60 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
The question paper will consist multiple choice objective questions.

January 2015
GATE 2015 Examination Date:
February or march 2015
