Communication Aptitude Test (CAP Test) is conducted by Amrita School of Communication (ASCOM) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and is a gateway for admission to its 3 year BA Mass Communication and 2 year MA Mass Communication programmes and PG Diploma in Journalism (PGD) offered at its Coimbatore campus.


The Test is an aptitude test designed to evaluate students based on their interest, aptitude and potential for adapting to a professional communication course. The sections in the Test question paper covered always include Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning and English Grammar.


B. A. Mass Communication

Eligibility

One must have pass the higher secondary school certificate or 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum of 50% marks or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

One from the foreign universities should obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

Selection Criteria

Based on Communication Aptitude Test - CAPTEST (Entrance Exam)
Personal Interview (PI)
Skype Interview (for those candidates who are not able to attend CAPTEST with genuine reason)
