As you want to get the details of Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer eligibility criteria so here it is for you:

1.Nationality/Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical), CPWD:
Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or equivalent qualification.

Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical), Department of Posts:
Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government

Junior Engineer(Civil)/ Junior Engineer(Electrical and Mechanical) , Border Roads Organisation (BRO) Ministry of Defence:
Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent from a recognised University or Institute

Junior Engineer (Civil)/ Junior Engineer(Electrical and Mechanical)/ Junior Engineer (QS&C), MES:
Degree in (Civil Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) from a recognised University OR Diploma (Civil Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) from a recognised Institute or University or Board and 02 yrs experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works
