BSNL conducts All India Competitive Examination for the recruitment of candidates into the Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) posts. BSNL JTO Exam Eligibility Criteria Education Qualification – -Must have completed Graduates of Engineering or Technology or equivalent degree to appear for this exam -Must have learned any one of the following disciplines: Computer Information Technology Radio Telecommunication Electrical Electronics - Must have secure minimum 60 percent in their finals. Age -- -Your age must not be less than 21 years -Upper age limit is 30 years. - Upper Age is relaxable for following cases BSNL employees – up to 5 years Government servants – up to 5 years Applicants of the OBC category – up to 3 years Applicants of the PH General Category – up to 10 years [SC/ST: 15 years and OBC: 13 years Applicants of the SC and ST tribes – up to 5 years Residents of J&K Nationality: Must be permanent residents of the Indian subcontinent |

Sorry to say that being a 6th Sem Student you are not eligible to give BSNL JTO Exam . Eligibilty Conditions: Ages of the applicants should be between 21 and 30. For Telecom department: Applicants must be BE/B. Tech graduate or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the disciplines of Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical or Information Technology. Civil department: Applicants must have degree in BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. Electrical department: Applicants must have degree in BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. Exam pattern: The examination for the BSNL JTO posts is based on the objective type test which consists of multiple type questions. Specialization (90 marks) respectively. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. There are basically three parts: General Ability Test (20 marks) General Engineering (90 marks) Important dates: BSNL JTO exam generally takes place in month of May and June. |

Here I am providing the Eligibility Criteria for BSNL JTO Exam which you are looking for . Graduates of Engineering or Technology are eligible to appear for this exam. Applicants who have an equivalent degree can apply as well. The certification must be from a recognized college. Applicants must have learned any one of the following disciplines: Electrical Electronics Computer Information Technology Radio Telecommunication Applicants who are awaiting their graduation results are also permitted to appear for the examination. A score of above 60 percent ought to have been scored by the Applicants in their finals. Age Qualification Candidates of the JTOs (Telecom) exam should not be less than 21 years when they submit the admission form. The upper age limit is 30 years. But this is relaxable in some cases. They are: BSNL employees – up to 5 years Government servants – up to 5 years Applicants of the SC and ST tribes – up to 5 years Applicants of the PH General Category – up to 10 years [SC/ST: 15 years and OBC: 13 years Residents of J&K Applicants of the OBC category – up to 3 years For your idea , here I am giving attachment of question paper |

Those individuals who have successfully done the apprentice training course with the BSNL are granted the below given provisions: Individuals who have worked as apprentices will need to appear in the common competitive exam carried out by BSNL and compete with the other candidates. First choice to the apprentices over the non-apprentices candidates will only be given if the aspirants get equal position in the merit list in the select zone. In addition to this, all other eligibility conditions should also be equal. JTO (Electrical) Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized engineering college/university |
