AMIETE or Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers is an equivalent of engineering degree.

AMIETE exam pattern

AMIETE examinations are held twice every year, one in June and other in December,

This exam held in three major categories:

1) Electronics and Telecom Engineering,
2) Computer Science and Engineering and
3) Information Technology.

The examination is divided into 2 sections, A and B, with twenty theory papers and one compulsory project work.

Now, the candidate can only move from section A to Section B, if he has successfully cleared his former section with an aggregate of 50 percent and with a pass in at least 7 subjects.

The questions papers of the both the sections carries 100 marks and the candidate are required to complete their paper in 3 hours time.
