Does the AMIETE Examination conducted by AICTE? I am thinking to appear in this Examination, but I don’t have any information about it. So firstly tell me which organization conducts the AMIETE Examination and provide me its official notification. Also give me details syllabus of it.

The Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Scientific and Industrial research has recognised IETE - Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) AMIETE has been recognised by the Government of India & UPSC as equivalent degree in engineering for the purpose of recruitment to superior services/posts under the Central Government and also by many universities/Institutes for purpose of admission to Higher education in respective engg disciplines. On the approval of Board of Assessment of Educational Qualifications, the Government of India has granted provisional recognition to the Diploma Level exam in electronics conducted by the Institution for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government in the appropriate field.
