After Diploma Eligible for IIT JEE Exam

I have completed Diploma .Am i eligible to appear in the IIT-JEE exam with 2 years gap ?

Yes definitely after completion of Diploma you are eligible to appear in the IIT-JEE exam .

Eligibility
Candidate must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

Candidate appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2015 may also appear in JEE Mains 2015 examination provisionally.

Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII.

Candidates’ date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990

Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

Exam Pattern
JEE (Main)
Pattern – One paper of 3 hours duration with 90 questions. 30 Questions each from physics, chemistry and biology.

JEE (Advanced)
Pattern – Two papers of 3 hours duration each. Each paper has 60 questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Important Dates:
IIT JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Date : 25th May, 2015.

Whether Diploma applicants are Eligible to appear in IIT JEE entrance exam or not ?

Sorry to say that,but a Diploma holder is not eligible for IIT JEE entrance exam .

Few reputed Colleges such as NITs,IITs does not provides admission to Diploma holders, they allow admissions to applicants who had completed 12th with Non medical stream.

Eligibility

Aspirants must have pass 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board

Aspirants can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive years.

Exam Pattern

Aspirants can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.

There will be two IIT JEE Exam Papers, each of three hours duration consisting of three separate sections on Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
