MBBS Eligibility and selection procedure

I want to do the MBBS course but don’t know about the Eligibility and selection procedure of it so will you please tell me about it?

MBBS is basically a full time 5 years medical graduation program. It stands for the Bachelors in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. For getting admission into the MBBS course candidate need to clear any of the All India PMT's or CET's to get in any good medical colleges or universities.

Eligibility:
The Candidate should have secured more than 50% marks in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology in his / her H.S.C or 10 + 2 examinations. There are 45% minimum marks criteria for the SC and ST candidate.

The candidate seeking MBBS admission or BDS admission should have appeared in the respective CET or PMT.

The candidate who have completed his graduation and then wants to take admission in MBBS should have completed his / her graduation in either any one of the subjects 1) Chemistry, 2) Botany and 3) Zoology and should have scored at least 50% marks in graduation.

The Candidate should be medically fit

Age :
Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Foreign nationals are not required to appear in the entrance examination for MBBS Course. They may seek admission through respective Ministries of Govt. of India, New Delhi, as per the rules laid down for the purpose.
