Join Indian Navy in B.Tech 5th semester

Hi can I join Indian Navy in 5th Semester of my B.Tech with continue of my B.Tech studies?

Ok, if you want to join Indian Navy in 5th Semester of B.Tech then you have to apply for the post whose eligibly is 12th but if you firstly complete your graduation then you can apply for the post whose eligibility criteria is graduation so I think complete your graduation first. After graduation you have to clear CDS exam to join Indian Navy.

Combined Defence Service Exam (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

CDS eligibility criteria-

For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy:
Degree from a recognized university or equivalent exam.

For Naval Academy: Bachelor of Engineering

For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Technology

Age Limit-

Indian Military Academy 19-24 years
Air Force Academy 19-23 years
Naval Academy 19-22 years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 years

Scheme of Examination-

All the papers are of objective type. UPSC CDS syllabus
