How to join Indian Navy after completion of B.Tech in ECE?

Can you tell me the process of joining Indian Navy after completion of B.Tech in ECE as I want to make a career in it?

To join Indian Navy Wing you need to appear in CDS (Combined Defense Service) Entrance Examination which is organized by Union Public Service Commission for every twice in a year. CDS has four wings: Indian Military Academy, Indian Air force, Indian Naval and Officer Training.

Eligibility Required

Here I am providing you the eligibility required for the Exam:

B.E / B.Tech or B.Sc with Physics / Mathematics Degree holders

No Commerce or Arts stream candidates are eligible.

Final year appearing eligible to appear in this Entrance Examination

There are no minimum marks required for the Entrance Examination.

The Age must between 19 years 22 years at the time appearing in the Examination.

Only Unmarried Single who satisfies the Educational / Age Criteria and Physical Fitness are applicable for the Entrance Examination.

After completion of B.Tech in ECE applicants can give CDS exam to join Indian Navy .

Combined Defense Services Exam holds twice in a year by UPSC for the recruitment of eligible applicants for Indian Air Force, Military Academy, Officers Training Academy and Indian Naval Academy.

Eligibility Criteria

Students should possess Graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized University / Institute.

Students (Boys and Girls) must be Unmarried.
