Hii sir, I Wants to get the Information About the JMET Entrance Test that is Earlier taken for Admission Into the Management Courses of the IITS ? Also Tell me what Eligibility Criteria is Required to get Admission Into the JMET Entrance Exam ?

The Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET ) is the first step in the process of getting admission to the 2 year long full-time Postgraduate Degree Programme in Management that are offered by the IITs. Currently IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee offer these programmes.

Eligibility Criteria : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent, or a Master’s degree in any discipline can appear for the JMET examination

Syllabus of the Exam

Verbal Communication: This section will test the candidate's comprehension of and interpretative abilities in English as a language of business specifically in common forms of English expression, grammar and usage in business.

Logical Reasoning: This section would have questions on analytical reasoning, argument analysis and analysis of explanation questions.

Quantitative Ability: This section will test the candidate’s understanding of Mathematics from the basics to Mensuration to Linear Algebra to Elementary differential calculus to Probability and Statistics.

Data Interpretation: This section would have questions with simple tables, histograms, pie charts, graphs, scatter diagrams, etc. Although involved calculations are not expected, simple data manipulations would be required.
