Iit mba jmet
Is IIT JMET (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Management Entrance Test) still conducted or it has been replaced by Common Admission Test (CAT) for MBA (Master of Business Administration) admission in IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)?

Re: Iit mba jmet Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) was an admission exam used in the admission to postgraduate programs in management Institutes such as Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the IIT Schools of Management. Eligibility criteria Eligibility: Candidates with a first class Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) or first class Master's degree in Science (as given by the Institute/University) or 60% Paper Format The question paper consisted of four sections and 120 questions. Each correct answer carried one mark each and each wrong answer attracted a penalty of 0.25 marks. The duration of the exam was 3 hours. The four sections include and the number of questions is: S no Name of Section Number of questions 1 Verbal Communication 30 2 Logical Reasoning 30 3 Quantitative Ability 30 Now this exam is not organized and admission is done through CAT exam only. Programs offered at IITs 1. For IIT Bombay Programme: Master of Management (M. Mgt.) 2. for IIT Delhi Programmes: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with focus on Management Systems, Master of Business Administration (MBA) with focus on Telecommunication Systems Management 3. for IIT Kanpur Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA) 4. IIT Kharagpur Programme: Master of Business Administration (MBA) 5. IIT Kharagpur Programme: Master of Human Resource Management |
