Indian Economics service and Indian Statistical Service Exam is conducted by UPSC.
It is a combined competitive examination organized yearly as part of recruitment for Grade IV vacancies in the Indian Economics Service (IES) and the Indian Statistical Services (IES)

Eligibility Details:
Age - limits:
21-30 years on 1st January of the year of Examination
Certain categories of persons as specified in the notice are eligible for age relaxation.

Educational Qualification:
For Indian Economic Service
Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.
