Indian Economic Service exam is a combined competitive exam for recruitment to Grade IV officers of the services of Indian Economic and Indian Statistic directed by the UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have obtained a post graduate degree from a recognized university in Economics or Applied Economics or Econometrics or Business Economics .

Exam Pattern
The exam is of conventional type.

Part I is written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks.

Part II is viva-voce of 200 marks.
