IPS is same as IAS. Aspirants have to go through its competitive exam i.e. CSE (Civil Service Examination) held every year under the supervision of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Important dates of IPS 2015 online form

Apply online on website was from 23-05-2015 to 19-06-2015.

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY)

Duration of the Exam:- 5 DAYS

IPS Eligibility:-

Mimum Educational Qualifications:-

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

Age Limit:- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Age Relaxation:- reservation is given to the reserved categories.

Instructions for online form

Candidates should have photograph and signature duly scanned in the jpg format.

Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II as per the instructions

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- Rupees One Hundred only)

The applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active E-Mail.
