Ok, here I am providing you the details of last recruitment of Income Tax Officer were held in February 2014.

Income Tax Department, Government of India invites application for recruitment of the Inspector of Income Tax and Tax Assistant and other posts against Sports Quota in the Income-Tax Department Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.

Income Tax Department Vacancy Details:

Name of the Posts:

1. Inspector of Income-Tax: 02 Posts
2. Tax Assistant: 20 Posts
3. Multi Tasking Staff: 03 Posts

Age Limit:

Candidate’s minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 25 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent for Post No.1 &2 and pass in Matriculation or its equivalent for Post No.3.

Eligibility:

Candidates must represented the Country in the Olympic Games (Senior Category) or secured at least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Games (Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) for Post No.1, represented the country in World Cup or World Champions or Asian Games or Commonwealth Games or at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships or south Asian Federation or USIC Championships for Post No.2&3.

Selection Process:

Candidates would be selected based on their performance in trails and interview.
