To get admission in Undergraduate Engineering Course offered by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) is as follows: Undergraduate Programs: B. Tech Program The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE (UG)) conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology). One short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling to be held at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology premises in Kattankulathur, Chennai To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, Institute offers direct admission and scholarships to top rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level. B. Arch. Program Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination with mathematics as a subject & NATA score The meritorious candidate list will be drawn giving 50% weightage to aggregate of marks & 50% weightage to NATA score Based on the ranking, admissions will be offered to the candidate. B. Des. Program Admission to B.Des program will be purely on the basis of performance in the Higher Secondary examination. Candidates short listed based on their Higher Secondary marks will be offered admission directly. |
