Will you please tell me that Female candidates are eligible for SCRA examination or not?

Female candidates are eligible for SCRA examination conducted by UPSC.

SCRA had announced the date for the 42 various posts to conduct for the probation period of 16 months and in the examination applicants will have to go through a four year Apprenticeship Training program, before they get appointed as probationers in the Indian Railway.

Age limit:
Applicants is scheduled to be more than 17 years and less than the 21 years.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must be passed in the Intermediate or a comparable qualification with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

Written examination
Interview session
Document verification

Date of notification- 5th Oct 2013.
Last date to make the online submission of the application is 4th Nov 2013
Written exam Date is 12th Jan 2014.
