Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts Group 4 Examination for the recruitment of the Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Field Surveyor and other posts included in Group-IV Services.

Eligibility:

Qualification

Job hunters must possess 10th/12th from any recognized Board.

Applicants must have required trade qualification as per post applied.

Age Limitation:
Job seekers must be in between 18 years to 30 years of age.

Relaxation in age will be given as per Government rules.

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the TNPSC Group 4 Exam. As per your need I am giving you the eligibility criteria for the TNPSC Group 4 Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Group 4 Exam:

Age Criteria:

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 35 Years

Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 32 Years

“Others” [ i.e., Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ]
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years

For the persons who are trained in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu, in respect of posts of Field Surveyor and Draftsman only

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 35 Years

Educational Qualification (Common Qualification for all posts):

Candidate need to pass S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent form recognized board.

Technical Qualification:

1. For Typist:
Candidate need to pass the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

2. For Steno-Typist, Grade III:
Candidate need to pass the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

Computer Qualification (for Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade III):

Applicant need to pass Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation awarded by the Technical Education Department.
