AIPMT And AIIMS

I passed the class 12th with science biology and I want to do medical course now so I applied for the AIPMT and AIIMS entrance exam. I don’t have the idea about the exam pattern. Can you please describe the exam pattern of the AIPMT and AIIMS entrance exam?

Hello dear, sorry to say you but AIPMT is replaced by NEET. And the AIIMS does not consider any AIPMT or NEET exam. The AIIMS is organized its own entrance exam.

AIPMT, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and AIIMS MBBS entrance exam, conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi are the two most important national-level medical entrance exams in India.

For admission in AIIMS you have to attend AIIMS entrance exam. The AIIMS CBT exam is held somewhere around the months of May and June, but they are conducted in two shifts Morning shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm and Afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm (Exam Duration: 3 1/2 hours).

Candidates will have to appear for the single paper exam as per the exam shift specified on their admit cards.

Paper pattern:

The AIIMS question paper will have 200 objective-type questions,
Will include both multiple-choice questions and reason-assertion type questions
Out of the 200 questions asked in the AIIMS exam:
60 questions are asked from Physics,
60 questions are asked from Chemistry,
60 questions are asked from Biology (Botany & Zoology), and
20 General Knowledge (GK) questions
Each question carries 1 mark.

AIIMS exam is conducted only in the online mode. It means it is a computer-based test.

AIIMS MBBS exam will be considered for providing admission to students in the MBBS programme offered by AIIMS, New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Bhubnaeswar, Guntur, Nagpur, Patna and Raipur.

AIIMS exam was organized to offer admission in 807 MBBS seats offered by AIIMS institutions.

Exam date 26th & 27th May 2018
Answer key release 28th May 2018
Result announcement 18th June 2018
