The marks and other things required for AIPMT/AIIMS Entrance Exam as your Brother wants to apply for the course are as follows:

For AIPMT Exam:-

Applicants who have completed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible for AIPMT exam.

Minimum 50% in all above mention subjects. For SC/ST candidate the percentage is reduced to 40%.

The age must be in between 17 - 26 years.

Exam pattern:
The entrance exam consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology 45 questions each.
Each question carries 4 marks.
For each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted from the total score i.e., 1/4th negative marking.
Duration of paper would be 3 hours (180 Minutes).
Language of the question papers is either in English or in Hindi or in the respective regional languages (only for Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamilnadu, West Bengal).

For AIIMS Exam:-

Applicants who have completed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible for AIIMS exam.

Minimum 12th marks must be above 60% and above mentioned subject must be contain 50% above marks.

AIIMS exam have age criteria, the minimum age criteria for AIIMS exam is 17 years old.

Paper Pattern for AIIMS:
AIIMS MBBS Medical entrance exam comprises of objective type questions, along with Assertion- Reason types question.
Paper is divided into 4 parts namely
Physics - 60 questions
Chemistry - 60 questions
Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
General Knowledge - 20 questions.
The exam will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration without any break.
In total there will be 200 questions.
There is negative marking system where 1 mark is given for each correct answer and 1/3 marks is deducted for each incorrect answer.
