Eligibility for AIPMT Entrance Exam
What is the minimum age limit to apply for the AIPMT Entrance Exam? I want to appear in the AIPMT Entrance Exam this year. So I want to know about minimum eligibility criteria for this Entrance Exam. I have given exams of class 12th with Bio stream and now I am waiting for its result. So tell me that can I apply for AIPMT Entrance Exam before declaring result of Class 12th?

All India pre medical Test is replaced by NEET. NEET was replaced AIPMT in 2016. NEET (AIPMT) eligibility criteria actually specify what candidates need to be eligible for 15% all-India quota seats in medical and dental colleges across India. Age Limit As per eligibility criteria for NEET (AIPMT), students should be at least 17 years old for admission to MBBD or BDS course. The upper age limit has been capped as 25 years old. A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is given to SC, ST and OBC category students. It means that reserved category students are eligible for the exam till the age of 30 years. Education: Candidates must be considered equivalent to 10+2 are also eligible for the exam. Last two years of study should comprise of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Bio-technology and an elective subject along with English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Eligibility Criteria Nationality: Candidates of Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply. They all are also eligible to apply under 15% All India Quota seats. Aadhaar Card: It is mandatory to have the Aadhaar number for filling the application form. Application Fee: The application fee can be submitted through online mode. Application fee for UR /OBC is Rs. 1400/-. For SC/ST/PH, the application fee is Rs. 750/-. Exam Pattern: Mode of Exam: The exam will be held in offline mode (pen paper mode). Number of Attempts: Maximum of three attempts will be allowed for candidates. Type of Questions: The question will be Objective Type Questions. Number of Questions: Total of 180 questions will be asked. Duration of exam: The exam would be of 3 hours. Languages: The question paper will be available in total 10 languages which are Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, oriya and Kannada. Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct response. Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
